UBC Sauder Business School MBA students choose one of four career tracks-consulting and strategic management, finance, product and service management, and innovation and entrepreneurship-then follow a curriculum consisting of courses based on management themes that include creativity, decision-making, global issues and macro-economics, and ethics and sustainability.
Experiential education opportunities include a three-month internship; a two-week global immersion that pairs students with a local business school in Shanghai, Bangalore or Copenhagen; a business development project; or a team consulting project for a real corporate client. The part-time MBA follows a similar structure, though career tracks are limited to finance or consulting and strategic management. In an average year, 55% of Sauder's MBA class comes from outside Canada, representing 25 different countries and languages. Full-time programs begin in August.
Students of UBC Sauder School of Business can choose either full-time program of 16 months or part-time program of 28 months. The school also offers student 2 years work experience. The cost of the program is $52,500.
