Deck-a-Dock at Big Quarry Lake. A mere 12-15 minute walk from the Tree House. Great for a freshwater swim, canoe, or rowboat excursion. Very serene and not uncommon to be the only ones there. Great lake fishing too!
Not only killer whales but giant humpbacks grace the bay in the early mornings. These 3 are heading back out to Malaspina Strait. Spouts and breeching can be witnessed from the Quarrybbean decks. Note the Elevator Bldg. on the left.
